Dr. Phyu “Pannu” Khin is a clinical psychologist and supervisor at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Drawing on her work with trauma survivors in Boston and Myanmar, she shares the science of resilience and what survivors teach us about staying strong during difficult times. In this talk, I will share insights from my research and clinical work on how individuals and communities adapt to trauma, medical illness, and humanitarian crisis, and what trauma survivors teach us about resilience.
